Docs: Setting Page Template

Setting Page Template

Setting full width page or a page with sidebar #

You can set a custom template for a page on the right side of the page editor in Page Attributes drop down section.
You’ll be able to choose such templates from the list:
Default Template
Elementor Canvas
Elementor Full Width
Full Width

Default Template is the primary one and is used in WordPress themes by default. If you want to have a page with sidebar, you should choose this template.

Elementor Canvas adds a possibility to create a landing page easily.
When you select this template, header and footer sections are removed and no need to use custom css or any other options to delete them. With Elementor Canvas you’ll have a blank page which you can make a Maintenance/Coming Soon page and no need to use any plugin.

More details about this template can be found in the Elementor documentation and Introducing Canvas article.

It is also described in Elementor documentation: Using Elementor’s Full Width Page Template and How To Create a Full Width Page Using Elementor articles.

Full Width is default {themename} template. It functions the same as Elementor Full Width template. The only point Full Width template is available for all page builders unlike the Elementor Full Width template appears when you activate Elementor plugin.
